Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery for Morris County Pets

Orthopedic Surgery For Pets at Community Animal Hospital

Pets can require orthopedic interventions from an injury due to an accident or trauma, problems with growth and development, or even genetic flaws. While we don't have a specialist on staff, we do have a surgical consultant for specific cases, so whatever you pet's needs Community Animal Hospital addresses pet orthopedic problems with expertise. Our surgical consultant has experience and training in bone and joint repairs, as well as surgical rehabilitation.

Community Animal Hospital has a veterinary surgeon available for your pet's orthopedic procedures. Access to an orthopedic specialist allows the patient to be treated at our hospital with your regular veterinarian overseeing your pet's care.

Our surgeon performs a wide array of procedures, including:

  • Anterior (cranial) cruciate repair (ACL)
  • Medial or lateral patellar luxation (MPL, LPL)
  • Fracture repairs
  • Femoral head ostectomy
  • Amputations
  • Jaw fractures and dislocations
  • Fracture repair and corrective surgery in young growing animals

In addition, we perform OFA screenings on-site.
